You will earn a guaranteed income of £20,000 per annum (paid at £385 per week), plus a percentage of net food and drink sales (also paid weekly). In addition, you can earn up to £7,500 bonus per annum based on your audited standards and a share of the profit (paid quarterly) if your business is successful. The estimated annual franchisee retained income quoted includes profit share and 50% of the total bonus opportunity available. Earnings are uncapped and can increase or decrease dependent on franchisee performance.

Entry cost of £5,000 is payable on change day. This includes legal fees and start up training costs. An extra £3,000 will be required as working capital, to ensure there is sufficient cash flow in the business before we make our first payment to you. You will be responsible for paying any staff wages including Employers National Insurance, liability insurances to protect the business and the public, TV licence and council tax for private accommodation.

The Old Five Bells features a single main bar serving characterful drinking and dining areas, with traditional features including timber beams and fireplaces. The proposed layout provides 107 internal covers, split between 65 dining and 42 drinking covers. Outside, a substantial beer garden offers around 257 covers alongside a children’s play area and side courtyard. There is also a trade kitchen, while a new rear entrance will provide convenient access from the large public car park directly behind the pub.
